2. What we collect and why
| Contact details | Name, email, phone — to process and communicate about your order. |
| Delivery address & map pin | Address text and GPS coordinates you pin at checkout — shared with our supplier and courier solely to deliver your order accurately. |
| Order history | Products, amounts and payment references — for warranties, returns, accounting and fraud prevention. |
| Payment information | We receive only a payment reference and status from our payment provider. We never receive or store your card number. |
| Technical data | Your cart and preferences are stored in your own browser (localStorage). We do not use advertising trackers. |
3. Sharing
We share personal information only with: our supplier and their courier (name, delivery address, pin and phone — to fulfil your order), our payment processor (to process payment), and professional advisers or authorities where the law requires it. We never sell personal information.
4. Direct marketing
We send our newsletter only if you opt in, and every email contains a working unsubscribe link. We honour the national opt-out registry and your right under POPIA section 69 and the Consumer Protection Act to object to direct marketing at any time.
5. Retention and security
Order records are kept for 5 years for tax and warranty purposes, after which they are deleted or anonymised. Data is stored with our hosting and database providers using encryption in transit and at rest, with access restricted to authorised staff.
6. Your rights
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you;
- Request correction or deletion of your information;
- Object to processing, including direct marketing;
